Let’s Make Chia Seed Pudding…Three Ways!

Chia Seed Pudding is a Baby Led Weaning Staple, it is easy to eat, super nutritious and delicious. Bennett still loves Chia Seed Pudding but when he was younger he was OBSSESED and wanted it for every meal. Since he wanted it all the time, I started trying out ways to switch it up while still ensuring it is delicious and healthy. Here are three of his favorites!


Peanut Butter & Chocolate Chia Seed Pudding

Ingredients:

  • Two Tablespoons of Creamy Peanut Butter

  • ¼ Cup Cocoa Powder

  • One Cup Almond Milk

  • ¼ Cup of Chia Seeds

  • One Teaspoon Vanilla Extract


How To Make It:

First, we will make our Chia Seed Pudding Base so combine ¼ Cup of Chia Seeds with one cup of Almond Milk and one teaspoon of Vanilla Extract. Next, we will mix in two tablespoons of creamy Peanut Butter and ¼ Cup of Cocoa Powder. Cover and let set in the fridge for 2-3 hours. Top with Mini Chocolate Chips and enjoy!



Strawberry Banana Chia Seed Pudding

Ingredients:

  • One Banana

  • ¼ Cup of Chia Seeds

  • One Cup Almond Milk

  • 1/3 Cup Strawberries

  • One Teaspoon Vanilla Extract


How To Make It:

First, we will make our Chia Seed Pudding Base so combine ¼ Cup of Chia Seeds with one cup of Almond Milk and one teaspoon of Vanilla Extract. Next, we will mash one Banana and 1/3 cup of Strawberries. Combine the mashed fruit with the Chia Seed Pudding base. Cover and let set in the fridge for 2-3 hours. Top with extra chopped Strawberry and Banana slices and enjoy!



Apple Pie Chia Seed Pudding

Ingredients:

  • One Apple

  • Two Teaspoons Cinnamon

  • One Tablespoon Lemon Juice

  • One and ¼ Cup of Almond Milk

  • One Teaspoon Nutmeg

  • ¼ Cup of Chia Seeds

  • One Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

How To Make It:

Start by making your ½ Cup of Cinnamon Apples. Peel and Dice one Apple. In a bowl combine the diced Apple, Lemon Juice, ¼ Cup of Almond Milk, Two Teaspoons of Cinnamon and one Teaspoon of Nutmeg. Mix together then add into a pan on medium heat and cover for about 8 minutes or until the liquid has evaporated and the Apples are soft.

Next you can make your Chia Seed Pudding Base so combine ¼ Cup of Chia Seeds with One Cup of Almond Milk and One Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract. Combine the Cinnamon Apples with the Chia Seed Pudding base then cover and let set in the fridge for 2-3 hours. Top with extra Cinnamon Apples and enjoy!
