Let’s Make Some Blueberry Chia Seed Donuts!
So happy to be sharing a recipe with you all after what feels like way too long! This recipe is a super easy breakfast or snack for your little one and they will love them! I snuck a tablespoon of Chia Seeds to this recipe for some extra nutrition and I also used Coconut Sugar instead of regular White Sugar. My son will eat just about anything with Blueberries so I had a feeling that he would enjoy these and he totally did. Would your little one like these donuts??
Ingredients:
One and one third cup Flour
One Third Cup Coconut Sugar
One Teaspoon Baking Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda
One Tablespoon Chia Seeds
1/4 Cup Oil *I used Olive Oil
One Teaspoon Vanilla
One Cup Almond or Coconut Milk
1/3 Cup Fresh Blueberries
How To Make Them:
First, preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Next grab two mixing bowls. In one bowl combine your dry ingredients so the Flour, Coconut Sugar, Baking Powder, Chia Seeds and Baking Soda. In the other bowl combine the wet ingredients so the Oil, Vanilla Extract and Almond Milk. Combine the wet and dry ingredients throughly. Once combined, fold in the blueberries. Add batter into donut tin. For small/medium donuts cook these for 15-18 minutes. Enjoy!
