Let’s Make Some Fruity Oatmeal Bars!

These are super healthy and easy to make, they are the perfect snack or breakfast for your little one!


I get a lot of messages over on Instagram asking for more snack ideas and this is a great one. I make a batch of these early in the week and give him squares throughout the next few days for him to enjoy in between meals. These snack bars are super healthy and taste great, plus they are incredibly easy to make so a win for us mamas. I made mine with Blueberries but you can mix in your little ones favorite fruits, these bars are great with strawberries too!


Ingredients:

  • Two Cups of Oats

  • Two Tablespoons of Chia Seeds

  • Two Teaspoons or Cinnamon

  • Two Tablespoons Butter

  • One Cup Apple Puree or Applesauce

  • Half Cup of Fresh Blueberries

  • 2/3 Cup Milk of Choice


How to Make Them:

Start by preheating your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Now in a large bowl combine the Oats, Chia Seeds, and Cinnamon. In another bowl mix the melted Butter, Apple Purée, and Blueberries. Combine the wet and dry ingredients then mix in 2/3 cup of milk. Once mixed add into an oiled baking pan and bake for 20-25 minutes. Let cool the slice into squares and enjoy!
