Let’s Make Some Peanut Butter Banana Oatmeal!
Updated: Jan 4, 2022
This recipe is way too easy and Oatmeal is such a good meal for Baby Led Weaning! It is super easy to eat and incredibly healthy. What I love about this meal is that it can be totally customized to your little one’s favorite foods! B has been loving Peanut Butter lately and always loves fruit so I put that together to make this super yummy Peanut Butter Banana Oatmeal. Oats are super healthy with a good amount of Protein and Iron. I am also adding in some extra Protein by adding in two tablespoons of Peanut Butter. Of course he is getting some Potassium from the Banana and extra Vitamins from the Blueberries. PRO-TIP: You could even add in some Peanut Butter Protein Powder to this just make sure to add in extra liquid.
Ingredients:
One Cup Oats
One Banana
Two Tablespoons Peanut Butter
1 Tsp Cinnamon
1 Tablespoon Chia Seeds
Two Cups Almond Milk
Handful of Blueberries
One Tablespoon of Maple Syrup (Optional)
How to Make It:
Start by mashing your Banana and Blueberries in a bowl. In a pot add in your mashed Fruit along with all of your other ingredients and put on low heat. You want to cook this for about ten minutes or until Oats are soft. Top with extra fruit on top and it is ready to eat! Hope your little one likes it!
