Let’s Make Some Pumpkin Donuts!
Updated: Oct 6, 2021
Your house will smell amazing after making these donuts and they are such a hit with my little guy! Of course, now that October is here I had to give you a super easy recipe using Pumpkin and I thought Pumpkin Donuts were a perfect fall treat and with simple ingredients and no added sugar these are great for my little guy as well! In addition to being delicious, Pumpkin is a nutrient dense and low-calorie food! Pumpkin is rich in Vitamin A which is great for boosting the immune system, it is also high in Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Iron and Folate. Pumpkin also contains a good amount of Potassium and Fiber which are linked to promoting heart health.
Ingredients:
One Cup of Flour
One Cup of Pumpkin Puree (I buy the Organic Puree from Sprouts)
One Egg
One Teaspoon Baking Soda
One Teaspoon Cinnamon
1/2 Teaspoon Nutmeg
1/3 Cup Almond or Coconut Milk
1/3 Cup Sugar
How To Make Them:
First add all of your dry ingredients into a bowl and mix thoroughly. Next you can mix in your wet ingredients and combine until the batter is smooth. Now pre-heat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Add your donut batter into an oiled donut baking pan (highly recommend a silicone donut pan, message me for a link to mine!) and bake the donuts for 15-18 minutes. Let cool and enjoy!
