Let’s Make Some Tomato Sauce!

I don’t know about youbut my little guy will eat ANYTHING if it has Tomato Sauce on it. He loves it on Pasta of course but he also eats it on Tofu, with Chicken, pretty much anything. I have been so excited to work on an easy Tomato Sauce recipe and finally put one together, this recipe is super simple and incredibly healthy.

As an extra perk, this recipe will make your kitchen smell amazing!!

Ingredients:

  • Three Large Tomatoes

  • One Teaspoon Garlic

  • One Teaspoon Oregano

  • Two Tablespoons Fresh Basil

  • ½ Teaspoon Salt

  • ½ Teaspoon Pepper

  • One Zucchini

How To Make It:

Once your produce is washed you can start by chopping your Tomatoes into large chunks then peeling and grating your Zucchini.

In a Large Bowl add your Tomatoes and Zucchini then add in the Garlic, Oregano, Basil, Salt and Pepper. Mix everything together.

Add the mixture into a large pot on low to medium heat and cover. Let simmer for 15 minutes.

Next you can add this to a blender or food processor and blend everything until you have a smooth consistency, and it is ready to enjoy!

PRO-TIP: Save this in your fridge for a few days, then take whatever you haven’t used and divide it into an ice tray then put it into the freezer and thaw as needed.
